FANTASTIC! I rented a car via WhatsApp a month in advance of the summer month of august. Extremely helpful, fantastic price (cheaper than all the others I contacted) and spoke great English. To be honest i was sceptical because it was so easy I though when I arrive it would be a lot of hassle and price re-negotiation! The rental office is 50 meters from when you get off the boat to Andros. On arrival it took no more than 15 mins to finalize the paperwork and get driving. The car was an estate car in great condition, however they should have cleaned it before I got it. The interior was dirty. Apart from that the service and everything was very easy. I dropped the car off ten days later. It took 5 mins to drop off in the morning and handover the key. I would definitely use them again. ~ Tarek O

Consigliatissimo!! mi sono trovato molto bene prenotato dall'italia non ho dovuto pagare alcuna somma anticipatamente ma all'arrivo. i prezzi sono buoni. A causa di uno sciopero dei traghetti abbiamo posticipato di un giorno la consegna dell'auto ed il proprietario è stato gentile ad non addebitarcelo. Ancora grazie!!. Spero di riperere presto una nuova avventura ad Andros!! ~ Mirko R

Πολυ καλη επιλογή ενοικίασης αυτοκινήτου! Το προσωπικό είναι πολύ φιλικό και πολύ καλό στη δουλειά του. Το αυτοκίνητο π νοικιασαμε ήταν σε πολύ καλή κατάσταση και το ευχαριστηθηκαμε στο έπακρο! Πολύ καλές και λογικές τιμές και υπάρχει κ επιλογή ενοικίασης αυτοκινήτου με πετρέλαιο, όπου είναι ακόμη πιο οικονομικό. Αξίζει να το επιλέξετε!! ~ Αθανασία Β

Abbiamo noleggiato presso Avance Rent di Andros, dietro consiglio di Vasili, una automobile dal 16 al 22 settembre 2025. Si trattava di una Lexus con cambio automatico, perfetta per guidare sulle strade dell'isola, in verità abbastanza impegnative. I gestori si sono mostrati da subito gentili, disponibili e molto professionali, praticando tariffe oneste. Se torneremo in questa perla di isola ci rivolgeremo senz'altro a loro. Sehr guter Service vor Ort. Das erste Fahrzeug musste getauscht werden. Avance Cars hat das Ersatzfahrzeug kostenfrei bis ins Hotel in Andros Chora gebracht. Der Service war im Allgemeinen sehr angenehm, das Auto war in gutem Zustand und ich würde Avance Cars auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen! ~ Ulrich L

Ottima esperienza. Entrambi i proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Abbiamo ricevuto per lo stesso prezzo un’auto di categoria superiore perché quella inizialmente prenotata era rotta. Inoltre siamo rimasti un giorno in più sull’isola e ci hanno prolungato il noleggio direttamente al telefono. ~ Leonardo M

We had a very good experience with Andros Avance in Gavrio. Everything was fast and easy. The car was ready and ran well, and pickup and drop off were easy. Great daily rate (February). The car was not in the best cosmetic condition, but the rental office is right next to the pier, and constant exposure to salt water is never good for cars. The staff was friendly and helpful, and Euthymios was great and a pleasure to deal with. Recomended, give them a try. Nikos D ~ Nikos D

This is a small, straightforward operation with reasonable prices. Renting a car was easy and everything about it went smoothly. Where they excelled beyond my expectations though is costumer service. They were prompt to refund me the cost of a GPS device that happened to malfunction and they chased me down the port of Gavrio to hand me my onboarding ticket that I accidentally left behind at their office. Λόγω βλάβης του αυτοκινήτου μου μισθωσα ένα Hundai Tuchon ώστε να μπορέσω να εξυπηρετήσω εκκρεμότητες άμεσα σε πελάτες μου, παρέλαβα πάρα το επείγον της κατάστασης άμεσα και είμαι απολυτα ευχαριστημένος από την άψογη συνεργασία. ~ Theodore M

when we were preparing our holiday on the island and writing to the agencies that rent cars, they at Avance were the only ones to give us all the information we needed. Even when they gave us the car (we chose a Fiat Panda) they were very kind. The only flaw was that there was no water in the windshield wipers, but it was a very minor problem and it was quickly remedied. In conclusion their service and experience with one of their cars was great!!! ~ nina

Nous avons réservé par téléphone pour le lendemain. Malgré notre jeune âge (22 ans et 4 ans de permis), le personnel a de suite accepté de nous louer une voiture. Nous avons donc eu une Peugeot 208 pour 35€ pour une journée. Malgré ses 170 000km la voiture était en très bon état. Avant le départ, le loueur a fait un tour de la voiture pour voir avec nous les quelques accros qu'avait déjà la voiture. Au retour, Nous avons refait un tour sans souci. Personnel sérieux et agréable, très bonne voiture pour un tarif correct. ~ Méline N

Nous avons pu réserver au jour même une voiture pour 2 jours sans problème et même prolonger plus tard d'un jour de plus. Très grande facilité administrative pour un prix très abordable. Je recommande !! ~ Dalvin V

Rented a car from Avance agency in Andros which I stumbled upon in a Google search. Everything worked out perfectly well - I had to make some late changes due to travel plans and they accommodated without any issues. Agency itself is perfectly located a short walk from the ferry terminal, and the pick up and drop off process was swift and smooth. Great communication throughout. Would happily recommend them! ~ Andy G

Top rental car provider. In the high season we asked for a car on Andros via Whatsapp at fairly short notice. Avance helped us with an uncomplicated way of implementing the car request. On site we met a nice team of employees who were also very competent and helpful. We had 2 cars on the island, both of which were in very good shape. The return was easy and quick.
